This is the home of Michael Wilson & OliverWorks . OliverWorks is a service for artists and galleries. I build custom stretcher bars, pedestals, and shipping crates. On this site you'll find prices for these services as well as Michael's (that's me) original paintings and prints. Most of the prints are giclees, but also include some solar plate etchings, the occasional monoprint and who knows what kinds of artwork. Some photo work, perhaps even some sculpture.
Primarily I'm a painter, and have been for about 3 decades. I paint in oil, in a style that's part realism, part surrealism. The paintings I'm working on now are becoming photo-realistic images of big-rig trucks. They began as quick paintings, something I could begin and finish in a few hours. At 8" x 10" that seemed appropriate and sensible, two things that perhaps art should never be. Imagegs of the trucks will appear here soon.
